I AM WRITING to express my concern about the beach huts in Angmering on Sea, or to be precise, East Preston.
For years patrons of the huts have been allowed to park at the car park owned apparently by Angmering on Sea residents. Now this has been disallowed, as the hut owners pay tax to the council I have to see why this new law has come into being.
Last week the car park was empty and owners of the huts were having to drop off their children, belongings and then find somewhere in East Preston to park. Pretty impossible, in view of the excess of flats etc which have been erected.
Surely some arrangement could be made where hut owners could have a pass for parking?
I sincerely hope all hut owners will get together and try and solve this problem. The area is very tranquil and people who use this part of the beach appreciate its beauty and peace.
