The Royal Air Forces Association, the charity that supports the RAF family, is holding a service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday 15 September (Battle of Britain Day) to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
This year marks a major milestone in the history of the Royal Air Force and sadly one of the last opportunities we will have to include those who were part of the Battle of Britain.
We would like to invite people who were around during the battle to attend our service: whether they were pilots, groundcrew, Royal Observer Corps, ambulance drivers, barrage balloon operators or children, not to mention the many other trades who gave so much in defence of King and Country.
Anyone interested in attending the service can register their interest by visiting www.rafa.org.uk/battleofbritain or by sending their name and postal address to: Battle of Britain commemorations, RAF Association, 117.5 Loughborough Road, Leicester LE4 5ND
