LETTER: Hold-ups were bound to happen

I read with interest your article in the County Times 18.9.14 regarding the new Co-op store in Cowfold.

Moving the Co-op to its new position was a recipe for disaster, the entrance and exit is close to the mini roundabout on the A281 which at certain times of the day is extremely busy and with restricted parking hold-ups were bound to happen.

Its previous position again was close to a mini roundabout on the A281 but a much quieter part as most traffic coming down from Horsham when it gets to Cowfold goes onto the A272.

I assume that HDC really looked into this before giving the required permission, mind you if it did it would be a first.

But this is just the wrong place to have a convenience store or perhaps we should call it a inconvenience store.
