Have your say

I would like to say A VERY BIG THANK YOU to the gentleman - I didn’t get his name but he was driving his granddaughters yellow Vauxhall Corsa to get petrol for her - at the Sainsbury petrol station at West Green, Crawley.

I was with my mother and we were getting petrol and asking directions, I hadn’t got a clue how to get out of Crawley as I had taken a wrong turn somewhere, as we had driven up from Polegate on the M27/A23 and planning to drive on to Woking without going on the motorway (I am not from this area).

He kindly offered to drive and I was to follow him and drove to other side of Gatwick onto the Reigate road then stopped and gave me clear directions on to Woking. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and we had a lovely stress free drive through stunning countryside on to our final destination Woking and had a lovely time catching up with our relatives.

It is nice to know that there are people out there who are so generous, sparing their time to help others.

Thank you again

Liz Steer, the lady driving the bright blue Ford Focus, Barnstaple, Devon
