Beach Clean Brigade, a local community group, are looking for volunteers to join them this Sunday, August 14.
Kimberly Stewart said: “I will be organising a beach clean along the Bognor Regis promenade, near the beach huts on the Aldwick side.
“I will have bin bags and gloves all ready for ocean-loving volunteers to help clean up the beach!”
Planned to run from 1pm - 4pm, the brigade’s work is supported by Surfers Against Sewage and the Arun District Council.
Ms Stewart said: “Each piece of plastic litter collected however small, is one piece removed from the ocean’s natural ecosystem. So every little bit makes a difference.”
