Handcross Primary School held their annual summer fair in searing heat on Saturday.
The fair took place at Handcross Recreation ground and visitors enjoyed traditional stalls such as tombolas, facepainting and a coconut shy,
The stars of the day were the Sussex Supremes Twirlers who, despite the heat, put on an energetic routine.
There was also two bouncy castles for children, an impressive cake stall and a barbecue.
The summer fair is put on by parents and friends of the school and helped raise money for the building work which is happening at the school throughout the summer.
