VIDEO: Snowy start to weekend in Crawley

Residents of Crawley woke to snowfall this morning (Saturday, March 23).

The snow had been falling since around 6am in Broadfield and started to lay on paths and lawns at around 9am.

Head of news Mark Dunford took his video camera out to Broadfield Barton and Tollgate Hill.

The Met Office has only forecast snow for this morning and it is due to be overcast from 12noon onwards.

There is a little snow forecast again on Sunday morning but again it is due to be overcast for most of the day.

According to the Met Office, the next time we are due to see sun in Crawley in Monday, 6pm.
