Hundreds of people joined a New Orleans-style funeral procession this afternoon (Monday December 9) to celebrate the life of a popular Horsham musician.
Laura Skuce died aged 51 after a short battle with cancer.
Family, friends and colleagues swarmed to the Carfax bandstand at 3pm.
The huge crowd was led by colourful music to St Mary’s Church in the Causeway.
Friend Stephen Brundish, 33, travelled down from Nottingham to pay tribute.
He said: “She was larger than life.
“You could always hear the sparks going off in her brain - the world needs people like that.”
For the full tribute pick up Thursday’s County Times (December 12).
