A family fun day at the Broadfield Youth and Community Centre has raised £250. Live music, face painting, bouncy castles and a visit from the police were among the highlights at the fun day on Saturday (August 9).
Organiser Tracy Frake is on the lookout for volunteers to help out at future events including coffee mornings. She said: “It was a really good day. We raised around £250 and also we had some funding from London and Quadrant.”
