Sussex fast bowler Chris Jordan reckons their thrilling 226-run victory over Warwickshire was the perfect response to their critics.
The England paceman took 3-38 and took two important catches in the slips to pave the way for their first County Championship double over the Midland side since 1960.
He said: “Earlier in the season we beat them at Edgbaston which was the first time in a very long time and again beating them here is even more special.
“Some people were saying we were going to get relegated but now we’ve answered our critics with back-to-back wins which lifts us up the table.”
