PEOPLE with basic DIY skills are urgently needed to join Wick Theatre Company’s workshop team.
If you are interested in theatre, but don’t fancy treading the boards, then this is the ideal way to get involved.
Rosemary Bouchy, press officer, said: “No matter how good the actors may be, if there’s no backstage crew to build the sets required, then there’s no performance.
“Wick is fortunate in having workshop facilities at Southwick Community Centre that would be the envy of some professional theatre companies.”
The team meets in the workshop at 8pm most Thursdays.
If you like the idea of helping to make, paint and erect sets for some exciting shows, email Martin Oakley at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The award-winning company, based at the Barn Theatre in Southwick, formed in 1948. There are four major productions a year, varying from Shakespearean drama to musicals, as well as two smaller, more challenging studio productions.
