FORMER radio and children’s TV presenter Timmy Mallet has been exhibiting his artwork at a gallery in Worthing.
The entertainer, who starred in shows such as Wacaday and the Wide Awake Club, is perhaps best remembered for his eccentric dress sense, catchphrases and pink foam mallet.
But visitors to Worthing’s Cloud Gallery got a chance to see a completely different side to the iconic TV personality at his latest art exhibition.
Timmy said: “I have always liked art and it is one of the things I was interested in as a youngster.
“I remember early holidays when I went off painting around the world, particularly in New England in America.
“But I never thought at any stage that it would be something I could do for a living.”
