Woman involved in Chichester collision dies

A 79-year-old woman who suffered serious injuries in a collision in Chichester last Thursday (August 9) has died in hospital.

Angela Wilsher, of The Drive, Chichester, was involved in the crash at 5.07pm when the silver VW Polo she was driving left Broyle Road and collided with a tree.

She was airlifted to Southampton Hospital but died from her injuries yesterday (Wednesday August 15).

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Boreham.”
