Brothers injured in Turners Hill road accident

Two men were trapped after their vehicle collided with a tree last night (Tuesday November 6).

The accident happened at 7.40pm involving a yellow Fiat Punto saloon which left the road on the B2110 East Street near Turners Hill.

The men in the car were trapped and were released by fire and rescue.

They are brothers from Crawley Down, the driver is 23 and the passenger is 18, and both were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.

No other vehicle was reported to be involved.

A Sussex Police spokesman said; “Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call us on 101 quoting serial 1498 of 6/11. You can also email us at ‘collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.”
