At Farlington School on Wednesday 5th February, Rupert Toovey, Fine Art Auctioneer and Chartered Surveyor, will give a talk about careers in the art and heritage sector.
As part of the series of Vive lectures which run throughout the year as part of our enrichment programme for scholars and other talented pupils, the talk will give practical careers advice from an experienced and charismatic speaker.
As the director of the Sussex-based auctioneers, Toovey’s, Rupert Toovey has a wealth of experience in the fine art world and will speak about the importance of art, history and heritage in society.
The talk will be illustrated with images of artefacts and draw on his 27 years’ experience in the auctioneering sector. Anyone with an interest in the art world, especially students hoping to pursue a career in art history, auctioneering or the heritage sector, will find this evening invaluable.
This free lecture is open to everyone. Contact 01403 254 967 if you would like to book a place at the event by no later than midday on Monday 3rd February.
