There were smiles all round as local charity the Amber Foundation was presented with a cheque for £1660 from the Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards.

Lee Laflain, store manager at Tesco Extra in Broadbridge Heath, who has previously visited the charity, presented the cheque to representatives from the foundation.

The money will enable the charity, which helps homeless young people, to help develop a kitchen garden project.
