The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy could not be more thrilled with their charity golf day that took place on Friday May 16 at Mannings Heath Golf Club.

With the request for sunshine being heard, the teams had an amazing day which included use of the exclusive Waterfall course and a delicious meal that finished off the evening.

We of course would like to thank everyone who joined us for the day and therefore supported our charity. A special congratulations to Coole & Haddock who won ‘Best Team’

Catherine Bristow, Events Fundraiser commented: “It was such a lovely day, I could not have been more pleased and the event raised in the region of £2000.

I would also like to say a special thank you to all of our sponsors including, Audi Five Oaks, Harwoods in Crawley, Spofforths, Brock Taylor, Casco, Forge Mobility Services, Fine Sussex Magazine and Golf Trolley Works.

Our next major event is the Arundel to Brighton charity walk on Saturday September 13.

If you would like more details on this or would like to get involved with the charity please contact Catherine Bristow at catherine.bristow@dvltrust.org.uk , call 01403 780444 or visit our website www.dvltrust.org.uk
