Sussex Day celebrations

Residents throughout the county will be celebrating Sussex Day on June 16.

Sussex Day is held on June 16 to coincide with St Richard’s Day, which marks the life of St Richard – the patron saint of Sussex. He was Bishop of Chichester from 1245 until his death in 1253. West Sussex County Council has a list of things to do on Sussex Day as well as a guide to making your own bunting or flag at www.westsussex.gov.uk
