THE Chichester Sport Relief Mile takes places this Sunday (March 25), starting at Graylingwell Park, with the first race starting at 10am.
The Graylingwell Park Partnership – Linden Homes, Affinity Sutton and the Homes and Communities Agency – which is sponsoring the event, is asking people to get involved.
Yvette Ruggins, sales director at Affinity Sutton says: “There’s still time to sign up if you want to take part in the run – you can join up until 8am on Sunday 25th March. If you don’t fancy taking part, please do come along to support those who are running!”
On the day there will also be plenty to keep the whole family entertained, from zumba demonstrations, footballs skills activities with Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, rugby skills with Chichester Rugby Club, nature play activities and many more.
The event is also being sponsored locally by Chichester Community Development Trust, Global Scaffolding and the University of Chichester.
Race start times are as follows: six mile run begins at 10am, three mile run begins at 10.30am and the one mile run begins at 11am. For more information or to sign up, visit www.sportrelief.com or www.chichester.gov.uk/
