ALBION fans gathered at the Romans in Southwick for the filming of a trailer by Sky.
A sky film crew was at the Manor Hall Road pub on Thursday to film a trailer to commemorate 125 years of the football league.
Landlord Chris Pobjoy said: “The Sky film crew visit was great fun and a new experience for most of the pubs regulars.
“Albion fans turned up in their colours to be interviewed in small groups in the Romans’ Albion-themed sports bar.
“The trailer will be aired from July 12 for a couple of weeks and we hope to be featured as they loved the whole community pub being linked to a community club.”
The pub is one of a number of venues across the country where Sky crews will be filming.
Joel Essex from Albion in the Community said: “Sky approached me earlier in the week for possible locations and I put them on to Chris Pobjoy at the Romans as they have an Albion-themed bar there.”
The Football League is marking the 125 years since the beginning of the world’s original league football competition, in 1888. Special anniversary fixtures will feature all eight of the founding clubs still in the league.
