Shoreham artists set to showcase work

Shoreham artists are set to exhibit their work in a showcase held at Hassocks Gallery this month.

The artists are from Shoreham Art Gallery, a team which works towards supporting local art and crafts.

They will be showcasing their work and running demonstrations from November 12 to 13 at the Edwin Budding Gallery in Hassocks.

Many of the artists will be in residence, and happy to discuss the techniques and inspiration behind their art with visitors.

The exhibition will include pieces from a variety of artists.

Nina Smith will be showcasing her fused glass, Wendy Standen will have her paintings and sculptures on show, and Jose Heasman will be showcasing copper foil glass.

Claire Harrison will have her paintings on display, Alan Humphries will be showcasing his photography, Sandra Stephens will be showing her watercolour paintings, and Jo-Anna Rawlings will be displaying her textile sculpture.

Printmaker Karolyn Mnich, textiles artist Sue Jones, and sculptors Teresa and Abby Martin will be exhibiting their work. Terry Guile will be showing silver jewellery, and Hilary Stirling will have pottery on display.

The exhibition will run from 10am to 4pm on November 12 and 13 in the Edwin Budding Gallery at the South Downs Heritage Centre, Hassocks. Entry is free.
