Forget chocolate - the eggs at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre are real!
Newly hatched coot chicks, wild ducklings, and swan cygnets await visiting families over the Easter Holiday weekend on the wetland reserve. If its Easter bunnies you want, join the hunt for the WWT Wabbit Wardens helping nature around the grounds.
“Our coot chicks are so ugly they’re cute.” said centre manager Dave Fairlamb. “It’s a great time to see all the new life springing forth around the reserve.”
The Wabbit trail, pond dipping, craft sessions and a Wetlands Discovery boat trip are all included in your admission price. WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is an easy, safe place to enjoy the wonders of wetland wildlife and a great way to have a taste of the wild without having to get your feet muddy.
The centre has eight comfortable hides, easy buggy and wheelchair friendly pathways, fully stocked cafe and gift shops and disabled and parent & baby facilities. Entry starts at £11.95 per adult, or £32.10 for a family, which contributes to WWTs vital conservation work in England and all around the world. WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is open between 9:30am -5:30pm seven days a week on Mill Road in Arundel. Visit wwt.org.uk/arundel for more information.
