VISITORS to Arundel Castle were transported back to 1815 to celebrate a Privateers and Revolutionaries weekend.
The colourful event offered action-packed combat displays and the opportunity for young revellers to have a go at archery, as well as showcases of historical crafts and a wide range of detailed costumes.
The event proved to be a great day out for visitors of all ages.
The Battle of Waterloo in 1815 marked the end of years of war between the UK and France.
