Remembrance Parade to honour the fallen

Veteran servicemen joined today’s men and women in uniform to honour those who have laid down their lives for their country in wars past and present.

Crawley High Street was lined with spectators this morning (Sunday November 10) as members of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Royal Marines joined cadets and schoolchildren for a parade which ended at St John’s Church.

The service was led by the Rev Francis Pole and ended with representatives of many Crawley groups laying wreaths at the memorial in the church yard.
