Public meeting to discuss football parking problems

People who would like to discuss issues of match day parking near Broadfield Stadium are invited to attend a meeting next week.

The recent success of Crawley Town FC has led to more supporters and more vehicles arriving at the stadium when the Reds play at home.

This, in turn, has led to complaints about parking.

Crawley Borough Council launched a Scrutiny Panel to address the issue and, on Thursday janury 24, the last of three public meetings will be held.

The meeting will take place at Tilgate Community Centre, Shackleton Road, at 7pm. Richard Low, Crawley Town’s new chief executive officer, will attend.

If you can’t make the meeting, but want to give your view, a questionnaire where residents can leave feedback is online at www.crawley.gov.uk/scrutiny
