A MUSICAL performed by schoolchildren is just one of the 12 projects to receive a grant from the Adur and Worthing Trust.
The Commit to Culture initiative will see pupils sing the songs of Africa in Zimbe!, accompanied by a jazz quintet.
Karen Simporis, from the trust, said: “Local artists, performers and filmmakers have just a few months to complete and present their work showing what a vibrant creative place Worthing and Adur has become.
“There’s a lifesize sculpture called The Picnic, a comedy songfest, two community arts projects using recycled material, three films – one’s a comedy horror, poetry, theatre, 1915 an Anthology and a 20 painting montage of local interest. Something for everyone!”
