Port theme for poetry competition

A POETRY competition has been launched by Shoreham Fort, following the success of last year’s community art project.

The art competition marked the start of a partnership between Shoreham Port and Southwick railway station and to continue to build on this, the poetry competition is also linked to the station.

The winning poem, with the theme Shoreham Port, will be printed and displayed there, to further enhance the appearance of the station.

There is no word limit for poems, but approximately 150 to 200 words are recommended. People of all ages and abilities are invited to enter.

Send entries to Nicky Goldsbrough at Shoreham Port, Nautilus House, 90-100 Albion Street, Southwick BN42 4ED, or email ngoldsbrough@shoreham-port.co.uk by Friday, December 13.
