VINTAGE hairstyles were all the rage at the launch of the Time-Out Studio in Shoreham.

The Pop-up Pin-up Salon event, in Tarmount Studios, in Tarmount Lane, proved so popular, it is now being repeated on a regular basis.

Manager Olivia Wragg said: “We had a very successful opening launch for Time-Out Studio, with lots of footfall.

“We will be doing the Pop-up Pin-up once a month - the next one being November 9.”

As well as the special monthly event, salon services include holistic and beauty treatments, events and workshops.

Olivia added: “We also organise pamper parties for groups of friends who want to do something a bit different.”

Photographer Jenny Rutterford, who attended the launch, said: “The minute I stepped in the door I loved it.”

Eagerly waiting clients were delighted to be handed a glass of bucks fizz in an original Babysham glass.

“They were happy for me to snap away while they coiffed and buffed and transformed their clientelle into glamourpusses,” she added.

“I loved all the retro touches – fab wallpaper, 50s furniture – not to mention these amazing cupcakes.”
