Bognor Regis Library will re-open at 9.30am on Monday, February 27 after having new self-service machines installed.
It is the latest branch in West Sussex to get the state-of-the-art terminals. The newly fitted systems let readers borrow and return books themselves using the latest touch screen technology.
West Sussex County Council Deputy Leader, Lionel Barnard, who oversees the Library Service, said the new self-service machines are an easy and efficient method for loaning items that can be used by everyone.
He added: “You can print lists of what you have borrowed, check when an item is due for return, and even make any cash payments. Our staff will be close by for those in need of help.”
