Sussex Police have donated £300 to Beeding and Bramber PreSchool.

The PreSchool is a non-profit run charity established over fifty years ago and is based in the Village Hall in Upper Beeding.

Acting Detective Sergeant Emma O’Dwyer from Sussex Police presented the cheque to Chantael Brookshaw, Supervisor who stated: “I would like to send our appreciation to Sussex Police for their donation and support. As a preschool we understand the importance of early intervention and offering support to children and their families.

“We hope to use this kind donation to provide various resources to encourage speech, language and communication skills.”

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

A/DS Emma O’Dwyer said: “I am really happy to support early education within the community. It is wonderful to see the Police Property Act Fund supporting younger people as they embark on a lifetime of knowledge development.”
