Poem of the week Swans

0
Have your say

CLOUDY, a grimy pond,

hissing grey birds

in a washing up bowl

untended.

The breeze arrives,

Waves, dish mops,

bob in the froth

cleaning the unpreened.

Now sun.

A calm royal blue pool.

Arch-necked swans,

starched-white.
