Poem of the week Other-Wordly

0
Have your say

HER other-worldliness enchants me

All my dreams are rooted deep

Yet I pray that Heaven grants me

Entrance to the peace she keeps.

This old world so full of worry

Never seems her mind to thrill

No crisis seems her mind to hurry

What is destined is what wilI

And yet I fear if left abandoned

All her dreamy heart would know

Is how people take advantage

Then slide off like melting snow.

She could never cope with strangers

And of worldy ways she’s shy

Selfishly, I hope she’s taken

To her peace before I die.

Her other-worldliness enchants me

All my dreams are rooted deep

Still I pray that Heaven grants me

Entrance to the peace she keeps.
