TWO charities have received cheques from the Owners Association of Church Farm following a season of fundraising.

The presentation ceremony was held at Church Farm Holiday Village, in Church Lane, Pagham, where the £3,500 raised was divided between RNLI Selsey Lifeboat and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Martin Gallagher, treasurer, said: “Each year, the Owners Association of Church Farm raises money for two nominated local charities.

“The association organises events throughout the season, culminating in the gala day on September 5.

“The association relies on donations from its members and local businesses to support the fundraising events. This year, all of the local pubs, restaurants and take away in Pagham we very generous but we were also fortunate to receive donations from further afield. This included Arundel Castle, Chichester Festival Theatre and Barfoots of Botley to name a few.”
