One of Crawley’s four adventure playgrounds will be holding an open day at the weekend.
Parents and children will be able to see what Waterlea Adventure Playground, in Furnace Green, has to offer at the event on Sunday (October 6) from noon to 4pm.
There will be bouncy castles, a barbeque, music and games.
Special guests will include West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and local storyteller Mark Bedford.
Young Leaders from Circuswurx Juniors will be offering circus skills sessions for promising performers.
Admission is £2 (free for those under the age of three), and there will be a small cost for the bouncy castles and barbeque.
Cllr Duncan Crow, Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture, said: “We are proud to offer four unique adventure playgrounds in Crawley, which each offer a range of outdoor and indoor activities.
“The Waterlea open day will give families an excellent chance to see what the playground has to offer as well as have a fun-filled family afternoon.”
Waterlea will also host a Big Draw event on Wednesday October 30 from noon to 4pm where families will be able to create cartoon characters to adorn the walls of the indoor area.
