SHOPPERS were entertained by various music groups to raise money for Action for Children.
The annual collection at the Holmbush Shopping Centre was supported by traditional Christmas music from church groups and Eastbrook Primary Academy choir.
Action for Children supports and speaks out for the UK’s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people, for as long as it takes to make a difference in their lives.
Organiser John Young said: “The collection raised £567 for the charity, which is great news.
“The collection was supported by musical groups from Southwick and Lancing Methodist churches, the wonderful choir of Eastbrook Primary Academy school and not forgetting the superb saxophone playing of Evelyn Harrison with her supporting guitarist.
“A good time was had by all and I would like the thank all the generous folk who dipped into their pockets and the help provided by Worthing Methodist Support Group. Finally, thanks to the Holmbush Centre for making the whole event possible.”
