The Crawley Masonic Lodge has bought a three-wheeled tandem for children at the High Trees respite home in Ifield.

Members raised £650 over the summer, which the Provincial Lodge of West Sussex matched to reach the target needed. Manager Lianne Howard said: “It’s something we’d not be able to buy ourselves. It’s enabled us to take some of the kids out, who wouldn’t be able to use a regular trike.” Pictured is Callum, 15, with carer Lizzie Leeson enjoying the tandem shortly after the Masons presented it to the home last month.
