Sid Sloane from CBeebies creates a stage adventure for children at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing where he presents the latest instalment of his quest to find his missing favourite socks on February 21.
Sid’s heroic mission to find out where his favourite socks and shoes have gone includes to the venturing bottom of the sea, delving deep into the jungle and floating in outer space where audiences will meet a host of funny characters and discover plenty of surprises along the way.
The interactive show features games, songs, poems and magic, making it ideal for families with children aged three to seven.
Brighton-based Sid made his first public performance as an actor at Brighton Festival which was followed by the world stage premier of Withnail and I and a season with Rainbow Shakespeare Company. He went on to join Belgrade Theatre Company before becoming one of the founder presenters on BBC’s CBeebies.
Sid said: “My show will leave you with a smile on your face and a spring in your step. I like to encourage children’s confidence, creativity and individualism so they all feel able to find their own paths to personal freedom and happiness.”
