DANCERS who recently achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in their ballet exams were among those who put on a showcase.

Miss Becky’s Ballet School performed at the Sir Robert Woodard Academy in Lancing and principal Becky Carter said there was a lovely atmosphere.

“I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of my students. They all danced beautifully,” she said.

“This year has been full of successes – we had 100 per cent pass rate from our ballet exams and the school is going from strength to strength.

“My ethos has always been teaching through fun. I want all of my students to love dancing and to enjoy coming to class. Dancing is not only good for their physical wellbeing but also increases confidence and social skills.”

Established in 2012, Miss Becky’s Ballet School is based at the Harriet Johnson Community Centre in Sompting. There are classes in ballet, modern and tap for children aged from two.
