Paul Ogle, managing director of Johnsons Cleaners, said: “Each year this event gets bigger and better and it’s definitely a highlight on our calendar.

“Our staff have put a lot of effort into making this event a success and we are looking forward to seeing the local community come to support our Johnsons Cares Day in aid of the NSPCC”.

The company hopes to top the £21,000 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation last year.

Martin Ashton, senior corporate partnerships manager for the NSPCC said: “We are delighted that Johnson Cleaners has selected us as the focus for their Johnsons Cares Day for 2013.

“It is a great initiative and the funds raised will help us to continue to protect vulnerable children across the UK.”
