The Horsham Cycle Challenge has returned for 2014 after attracting more than 50 organisations in the town last year.

It will run from Monday June 23 to Sunday July 14 with the aim of encouraging more businesses, charities and other organisations and their employees to take up cycling.

Participants can register online, receive a registration pack, and then log their cycling activity on the website.

Cyclists who register at least 10 minutes of activity during the three-week challenge period are then entered into a prize draw, ranging from tickets to the Capitol, gym memberships, restaurant vouchers, and other treats.

The Horsham Cycle Challenge Team will be offering breakfast vouchers to cyclists in the Carfax on five mornings in the three-week period.

There will also be events in Horsham Park where bikes and refreshments are provided.

An awards ceremony will then be held on Friday July 18 at Bills Restaurant in the Old Town Hall.
