A teenager from Horley has become the UK’s youngest advanced driver.

Scott Archer, 17, surprised his dad and his driving instructor Howard Redwood at his ability to drive, particularly as he was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) at the age of seven. Mr Redwood said: “Even as early as his third lesson, I could see the potential to become an advanced driver. Scott had acquired a gift of understanding and being able to keep focussed when driving, which he had not had any experience in before.”
