After booking the holiday, Eastbourne-based Debbie Downs was struck with the problem of getting her and the nine members of her family there and back, as Debbie was unable to use public transport due to her health.

However, Vic Sawyer, Mark Jones and Bryn Marsh of Survey Roofing, along with Tim Austen of Austens Cradles stepped in to save the day after being contacted by Debbie’s friend Geoff Dixon. Together, they picked up to cost of a mini coach to take and collect Debbie and her family, as well as giving her £50 spending money.
