Saturday October 15 at 9.30am. All at Sea. The Blue Ship, Haven, Five Oaks. Circular walk via The Wey and Arun Canal, lunch at the Blue Ship at end of the walk. Leader Diane. Parking is limited.

Sunday October 16 at 10am. West from Bolney. Bolney Crossways (entrance to Farney Close School) off A272 roundabout immediately on Ansty side of A23.Bolney Circular via Wykehurst Park.Leader Eric. No dogs please.

Tuesday October 18 at 11am. Thorney Island Circular. Car parking area on Thorney Road / Thornton Lane junction.Thornham Point - West Thorney (inside MOD area) - Longmere Point - Marker Point - Wickor Point. Leader Tony. Please bring picnic lunch. No dogs please.

Sunday October 16. Day walk - meet Crown Inn Public House, Dial Post. Map Exp:121 GR: 155.195 @ 10.30am via Shipley Picnic 8 miles - Grade 1/2.

Saturday October 15 at 2pm. Mock Bridge, north of Henfield 6 miles mildly undulating, fields and woods. Explorer Map 122/TQ212179. Meet in car park just south of Mock Bridge, 1/2 mile north of Henfield on A281. Walk via Betley Bridge, Wymarks Wood, Exhurst Manor. Notes: Bus No 17. Brighton, North Street Stop A 1pm, arrives The Bull Inn A281 at 13.38pm, or Horsham, Carfax Stop H 12.28pm, arrives opposite The Bull Inn at 13.11pm; two minutes walk south to the car park.

Sunday October 16 at 10am near Storrington. 11 miles undulating with one steep descent. Explorer Map 121/TQ070125 Meet in the car park on the South Downs Way between Springhead Hill & Kithurst Hill. Walk via High Titten, Houghton Bridge, North Stoke, Burpham (L), Perry Hill, Lee Farm & Chantry Post. Notes: This walk can be shortened in the afternoon if required.

Meet in the car park at the Partridge Green Village Hall, (TQ190191) for a three mile walk ending with a visit to the Dark Star brewery, number of places limited, booking required with Mike 01403 242564. Lunch (Hutching’s famous pies) available after in the Partridge Pub with music and dancing by the Broadwood Morris Men. No dogs.

Monday, October 17. Meet at RSPB Reserve, Wiggonholt, Pulborough, on the A283 at 10am. Mostly flat (some stiles) circular, interesting, walk through woodland, fields and part of the Bird Reserve. Free, just turn-up. 5 miles.

Tuesday, October 17. Meet at 10am in Chequers Inn LH car park, Rowhook, near Horsham. Flat circular walk through farmland and along the Sussex Border Path. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4½ miles.

Thursday, October 20. Meet at 10am in Half Moon car park, Warninglid (TQ 250260). Circular walk through woods and farmland along the High Weald Landscape Trail to Slaugham Church. Good views, free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4½ miles.

Friday, October 21. Meet at 11am in Cripplegate Lane car park, Southwater Country Park. Flat easy circular walk along bridleways, lanes and the Downs Link. Free, just turn-up. Dogs on leads. 2½ miles.
