Sunday September 30, 10am: Ouse Looking Good at Isfield Lock? Meet at car park at Barcombe Mills about 1 mile west A26 (TQ 304247). 9 miles. A walk along areas of the Middle Ouse Valley not before visited that includes an ancient woodland, steam trains, and a Roman Road. There will also be a chance to catch up with the restoration progress being made at Isfield Lock. Dogs welcome on a lead. Please bring a snack. Leader: Terry Owen, Per-Rambulations.

Thursday September 27, 10am: Meet at West Chiltington Village Hall (TQ 083179). Various circular walks, some stiles and moderate slopes, incorporating windmills, vineyards, llamas and good views of the South Downs. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 to 5 miles. Frances 01903 743919.
