Monday January 2 at 10am: Slindon Common 10 miles fields & woods, some climbs. Explorer Map 121/SU960077. Meet at Slindon Common car park, off Park Lane. Walk via Slindon Wood, Nore Wood, Slindon (L), Chichester Lodge, New Barn Farm. Notes: You can join this walk for either a 5 mile morning walk or an all day 10 mile walk.

Wednesday, January 4: Meet at 10.30am at the Bax Castle, Two Mile Ash Road, TQ 147272 (near Christ’s Hospital School). Circular walk, some stiles and modest climbs, over farmland and through woods. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 miles.

Thursday, January 5: Meet at 10am at the White Horse PH car park, Maplehurst (TQ 190246). Mostly flat (some stiles), Wealden circular walk through fields and woodland almost to Cowfold. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5½ miles.
