Tuesday September 13 at 10.30am: Arundel Circular. Meet in London Road, west of Arundel Cathedral and the school where there is free parking. Saturday September 10, 1pm: Barnham Anniversary walk from 1972, a 7.5 miles ‘linear’ level. Explorer Map 121/SU959044. Meet at Barnham station forecourt to catch the 13.15 train to Littlehampton. Walk via Atherington, Drove Lane Farm, Barnham. Notes: Shoreline and farmland.

Sunday September 11 at 10.15am: Findon Valley near Worthing 10.5 miles several long, gradual climbs. Explorer Map 121/TQ134066. Meet in Findon Valley car park off Coombe Rise, Findon Valley, Worthing. Walk via Cissbury Ring, No Man’s Land, South Downs Way, Chanctonbury Ring (L picnic only), South Downs Way, Pest House, Cissbury Ring.

Sunday, September 11: meet at Glebe Surgery car park, Storrington (TQ 084144) at 10am. Hilly circular walk on to Sullington Hill and back via the South Downs Way. Free, just turn-up. Well behaved dogs welcome, 5 miles.

Monday, September 12, 10am: Henfield Western Route, Free, park & meet at Downslink Car park, TQ 205162, next to Cat & Canary PH. 5½ mile circular, fairly flat (some stiles) walk along the Downs Link and the banks of the River Adur. No dogs.
