Tuesday July 19 at 10am East Dean- Seaford (kittiwakes) – East Dean Meet at East Dean car park for bus to Seaford – Splashpoint (RSPB may be there with telescopes) Seaford Head – Cuckmere Haven – Brass Point – Gayles – East Dean. 514m of ascent and 483m of descent on good downland paths with breathtaking views of Kittiwakes and the Seven Sisters. Walk via Long Man, Jevington (L), Polegate Windmill, Wilmington. Notes: There will be a stop at Polegate windmill with an opportunity to look round- there is a charge of £1 to view the windmill.

Monastery Lane is to the south of the A283, at the junction of the A283 and the B2139 (Amberley Road). Saturday,July 16: Meet at 2pm at Kithurst Hill car park (off Storrington to Amberley road, TQ 070125). Hilly circular walk to Amberley via the South Downs Way then along the banks of the River Arun to South Stoke. Free, just turn-up. Well-behaved dogs welcome. 7.4 miles.

Sunday, July 17: Meet at 10am in Kithurst Hill car park (off Storrington to Amberley road, TQ 070125). Hilly circular 9 ½ mile walk for the experienced over the downs to Burpham. Please bring refreshments. No dogs.

Monday, July 18: Meet at 7pm in lay-by 200 yards south of The Bull Inn, Mockbridge, Shermanbury on A281 (TQ 212179). Flat circular walk (some stiles) along the River Adur to Wineham. Expect mud. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5 miles.

Tuesday, July 19: Meet at 10am in Chequers Inn LH car park, Rowhook, near Horsham (TQ 123342). Flat circular walk including Roman Woods, Fishing Lakes & Sussex Border Path. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 ½ miles.

Thursday, July 21 10am: Partridge Green going West, Free, park and meet at the Village Hall car park, Partridge Green, TQ190191. 5 ½ mile circular, fairly flat (some stiles), country walk. No dogs.
