Wednesday July 6 at 8.15pm Chailey Nightlife. Chailey Sports Club car park North Chailey off A272. Joint evening walk with Chailey Commons Society on a circular route around Chailey Common to see and hear the natural nightlife of the common, including glow-worms, bats, owls and nightjars. Walk via Newhouse Farm, West Grinstead church (coffee break), Well Land Farm. Notes: Light woods/fields, no steep climbs. Numerous stiles and can be very muddy after prolonged rain.

Monday, July 4: Meet at 10am: Henfield Western Route, Free, park & meet at Downslink Car park, TQ 205162, next to Cat & Canary PH. 5 ½ mile circular, fairly flat (some stiles) walk along the Downs Link and the banks of the River Adur. No dogs.
Tuesday, July 5: Meet at 10am: Warnham, free, just turn-up at the Sussex Oak car park (TQ 158337). 6 ¼ mile, fairly flat, circular walk towards Broadbridge Heath and Strood Green. No dogs.
Wednesday, July 6: Meet at 10.30am at the Bax Castle, Two Mile Ash Road, TQ 147272 (near Christ’s Hospital School). Circular walk, some stiles and modest climbs, over farmland and through woods. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 miles.
Thursday, July 7: Meet at 10.00 am at the White Horse PH car park, Maplehurst (TQ 190246). Mostly flat (some stiles) Wealden circular walk through fields and woodland almost to Cowfold. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5 ½ miles.
