Saturday June 25 at 2pm - 5 miles a couple of inclines, not too steep. Explorer Map 122/TQ188106. Meet at the public car park in the centre of Bramber opposite the Castle Inn Hotel. No dogs please. Walk via Bramber and Steyning, with a stop at the ruins of Bramber Castle.

Hilly circular walk to Houghton along parts of South Downs Way, Monarch’s Way and River Arun providing superb views of Arundel Park and the Arun Valley. Free, just turn-up. Well-behaved dogs welcome; 4 ½ miles.

Tuesday, June 28: Meet at 10am at the Holmbush Inn car park, Faygate (TQ 218344). Mostly flat (some stiles) circular walk through woods and farmland almost to Rusper back via Lambs Green. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5½ miles.

Wednesday, June 29: Meet at 7pm at Bramber car park (TQ 188105). Circular walk over difficult terrain at a good pace for the more experienced walker. Some hills and stiles. Free, just turn-up. No dogs; 6 to 7 miles.

Thursday, June 30, 10am: Partridge Green going East, free, park and meet at the Village Hall car park, Partridge Green, TQ190191. 5½ mile circular, fairly flat (some stiles), country walk. No dogs.
