HDC RESULTS: Conservatives hold Nuthurst ward in council elections

The Conservatives have held the second Horsham District Council ward to be announced this evening.

Toni Bradnum, agent for the Horsham Conservative Association, was elected for the Nuthurst ward, succeeding Duncan England, who stepped down after one term as a councillor.

She polled 1,142 votes.

Other candidates for Nuthurst were the Green Party’s Darius Assassi (195 votes), UKIP’s Graham Harper (270 votes), and Lesley Hendy for the Lib Dems (283 votes).
